Preparation abroad
Tensions, conflicts, and greatly increased crime in some regions of the world mean that employees of companies, government agencies, or aid organizations (NGOs/NGOs) are exposed to great risk to life and limb in certain places of service.
In our overseas preparation courses for duty stations/assignments in areas with a high risk of crises or high crime rates, we provide realistic and authentic preparation for any type of foreign assignment. We will create a training program specifically designed to meet your needs.
If you wish, we will also provide you with daily support during your travels with all important information. We will work with you on a retreat plan in case you need to retreat quickly.
Current risk areas
The world is currently looking to Ukraine, Syria and Iraq. But there are many other countries that have major problems due to civil war, economic crises and/or political irregularities. Traveling there is life-threatening. One should not be surprised about kidnapped motorcyclists in Algeria, shot tourists in Yemen or kidnappings in the Philippines.
Well-known travel destinations such as Egypt, Tanzania, Macedonia, the Bahamas and Cuba also belong to the high-risk countries such as Palestine. In Europe, Belarus, Ukraine and Bosnia-Herzegovina are also included. If you look at the Health Risk Map for 2017, you will see Africa in particular as a high-risk area. Here, there are only a few low-risk countries. South Africa, Morocco and Tunisia are among them.
On the Forbes World Map, Mexico in particular is still mentioned as a problem zone, and Egypt is designated as medium risk, as is Thailand. Large parts of India are also declared critical. It is interesting to note that southern Italy is also considered a medium-risk area.
